"Casa Romantica" is a delightful little cottage style house. It is built on two levels set into the hillside, overlooking the bay and beaches of Velilla in Almuñecar. The entrance is at street level through a private entrance and into the large Spanish style lounge / dining area - "with bar".

From the lounge is the Kitchen and a cloakroom (WC). The lounge in turn opens via sliding patio doors onto the furnished terrace. Down stairs at the lower level are two comfortable bedrooms which are both en suite - the twin bedroom has half bathroom and the Master bedroom full facilities including Bath with shower over. Between the two bedrooms is a small hall with a

spare bed making the house capable of sleeping 5 persons in total. There are some delightful beach and bay areas close by and all along the promenade are restaurants and bars to suit every taste and pocket, many of them actually right on the beach. Almuñecar is a charming Andalucian white pueblo (village) with a myriad of winding and fascinating streets. It has grown in recent years now catering to the demands of the international tourist as well as retaining the intrinsics you would expect to find in a real working town whre people go about their daily business. The market day is Friday when country folk come from all the surrounding villages to buy and sell there wares.

Almuñecar is a town that knows how to fiesta !!. try to catch the spectacular Easter Parade and The Patron Saint days of August 15th And September 8th. You would be excused for thinking life here is just one big fiesta. An ideal base for the family holiday - don't miss the huge water park in the summer. There are many places to visit from here including Granada and the Ski resort of Sierra Nevada
